One year after the inception of Profitouch, CC Production's Director of Operations, Joe Hahn, casts a retrospective and an introspective look at the operations of your favorite POS company, and concludes that the remarkable improvements of 2005 are the bedrock of greater things to look forward to in the new year.

CC Productions Will Do A Lot More in 2006
We introduced Profitouch almost twelve months ago to keep you better informed as to what is going on at CC Productions, Positouch and the Hospitality industry. We hope you are satisfied with our efforts. We intended to distribute t en issues a year, and have successfully accomplished our goal. As you would expect we continue to analyze our effort and strive to exceed our previous objective. With that in mind we will move forward with a monthly newsletter.
To help us with this, we are pleased to announce that we have recently added an Implementation Manager and Special Projects Coordinator, Charles Rieser, to our team. Charles has most recently been working with an Aloha dealer in the New York market and previously worked with CC Productions for almost five years. He has 16 years of hospitality experience, in addition to some computer programming work. Charles worked in management capacity at 8 New York restaurants before becoming CC Productions' Project Manager in 2001. He was educated at the Culinary Institute of America, the State University at Stony Brook, Boston University, and the University of Montana. He also took Microsoft courses at IKON. So, Charles returns to us with impeccable resume to provide better services to you, our customer. In addition to some other responsibilities, he will be pushing us to provide a professional, information packed newsletter every month. He will work with you to better understand the needs of the user and this market.
At this time we would also like to thank you for your support and the business you brought our way in 2005. We have been working hard towards achieving our vision of being the market leader in terms of our product enhancements and exceptional quality service.
We believe the changes we made at the beginning of 2005 in our customer service division have further enhanced our level of support. With regards to our service capability, we have made a significant improvement with the acquisition of personnel. We increased our staffing by 30%. This has improved response time and reduced your product down time. We also have invested significant hours in training. Obviously you are the best judge of these claims and we will be doing customer surveys this year to find out what you think. We encourage you to participate!
During 2005 we also continued our focus on new product development and now offer you the Internet Ordering interface. In a joint venture, CC Productions and BigHoller integrated web ordering with Positouch. Our customers can now eliminate labor costs, and enhance customer retention while speeding up the ordering process.
Our system delivery lead-time has been improved from six to eight weeks to just under four weeks. By continuing to increase our staff strength, we are better positioned to respond quicker to your needs.
The capacity to support your systems was enhanced significantly with the introduction of web-based support with eBLVD and the Windows Remote Desktop. Along the same lines, we began to offer web-based training. These new technologies have made you and and our company better at what we both do. Our boldness to look into new solutions that benefits our association was, without doubt, a defining highlight of our business focus in 2005.
We also brought you the an integrated POS reservation system from the world's leading restaurant reservation and guest management provider, Opentable. Restaurants using OpenTable allow their customers to make real-time, online reservations at those restaurants through the Internet. Opentable's electronic reservation book (ERB) automatically builds a comprehensive customer database that enables restaurants to manage yields, communicate with diners more efficiently, enhance customer service, and conduct highly targeted marketing campaigns.
In addition, we rolled out new hardware and software platforms, including the J2 Thinclient, the IBM SurePOS 514, IP printers, improved wireless solutions and so forth.
