Positouch Delivers for Dallas BBQ...
We are proud to profile one of our premier POSitouch users this month - the Wetson Restaurant Group of New York. Wetson owns and operates seven Dallas BBQ Restaurants and two Tony’s DiNapoli Restaurants. The largest Dallas BBQ Restaurant, opened in July 2006 in Times Square and is the latest addition to the successful franchise. Comprising three stories with more than 20,000 square and seating for 800, it is one of the largest and highest volume restaurants in New York City.
This location, which turns their tables 4 times on a busy night, installed their latest POSitouch System with twenty-two Posiflex terminals, eight of which are dedicated to their huge take-out and delivery business at this new location. A venerable user of advanced POS technology since the early 1980’s, Wetson continues to upgrade their aging legacy POS systems still in use at their West Side and Second Avenue locations. Under the careful eye of Dave Freed, Director of IT for Wetson, the chain plans to replace the systems at those two locations with POSitouch over the next few months.
Veteran POS technology professional, Freed said: “Having worked extensively with Micros, Aloha, Sable and Remanco over the last ten years, It became apparent to me that POSitouch was the only system on the market that could handle not only our table service, but efficiently accommodate our tremendous delivery and take-out business in all of our stores. Before POSitouch, there was simply not a system that performed well for all of our diverse concepts by competently addressing our quick service, family casual and fine dining POS requirements.”

Mr. Freed plans on implementing the POSitouch i-Control above store enterprise portal reporting solution in the near future to give Wetson management near-real time access to sales, product mix and labor statistics as well as remote management of their store level POS menu databases.
CC Productions' close business partnership with Dallas BBQ has yielded astounding results, as the restaurant continues to grow its business and is fast becoming a more prominent New York institution. As we write this report, a new Positouch system is being rolled out for yet another DallasBBQ restaurant, this time on the West Side, 2nd Avenue, in Manhattan.
The restaurant relies on Positouch for all the rich features it needs not only for regular point-of-sale operations, particularly delivery, but also for a myriad of backoffice functions such as labor scheduling, time and attendance, credit card authorization, sales reporting and inventory.
