CREDIT CARD FRAUD IN NEW YORK HIGHLIGHTS YOUR CULPABILITY
High profile credit card fraud involving waiters in 40 restaurants across the Northeast, reported by CNN, is drawing attention of the industry to the implementation of the payment card industry compliance standards. 

Credit card account information was stolen from customers who visited restaurants in New York metropolitan area, as well eateries in New Hampshire, New Jersey and Connecticut, and passed on to people who used the information to make more than $3 million worth of illegal purchases, according to prosecutors.
